Folklore Entertainment was established to explore the human condition through film, theatre, fiction and poetry while cultivating a meaningful community of artists and a new generation of storytellers.

Our first film was “Thirst” starring Melanie Griffith, Josh Pence, Gale Harold and Michael Bofshever, and directed by Rachel McDonald. "Thirst" made its world premiere at the 67th Locarno International Film Festival on August 7, 2014. [view press kit]

“Film Hawk” premiered at Sundance on January 24, 2016.
